A red garnet necklace is often given as a symbol of love, loyalty and friendship. With a fiery hue, this rose-cut, deep red gemstone has an array of triangular facets on its surface to show off the stone's brilliance.
Due to its clusters of tiny red gems, this is how the garnet received its name - from the Latin word 'granatus' meaning grain or seed, resembling the vibrant red seeds of the pomegranate.

This piece features a natural earth-mined garnet from Mozambique and therefore colour, markings and inclusions are unique from piece to piece.
